2400 Ton Mill Agreement from Imas Makina

Imas Makina, one of the subsidiaries of İttifak Holding; With the Milleral brand, BUA Group will build a turnkey facility with a daily grinding capacity of 2,400 tons. The facility, which will be built for the energy-rich BUA Group, one of Nigeria's most important companies, is scheduled to be completed in 2021. BUA Foods will increase its capacity from 1,600 tons to 4 thousand with this facility to be built.

MİLLERAL, a brand of İmaş Makina, has been manufacturing and installing machinery and turnkey plants for milling grains such as wheat, corn, rye and oats to obtain flour and semolina for 30 years. Exporting to 100 countries of the world, IMAS always continues to work with a team spirit by developing innovative technologies needed by the global economy from the Middle East to South East Asia, from South America to Africa, and exhibits a flawless production according to the demands of its customers.

Mustafa Özdemir, General Manager of İmaş Makina, said, "With our Millal brand, we aim to build an efficient, advanced and world-class facility for BUA Group and to provide the experience of our machines produced with advanced and superior technology. "We will build a facility. We plan to commission this facility by the end of 2021," he said.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, BUA Group Chairman of the Executive Board and owner of the company Abdul Samad Rabiu said, “We have stepped into this partnership with Imas Makina's Milleral brand to develop our new and state-of-the-art flour mills with a total grinding capacity of 2,400 tons in Nigeria. We plan to complete it next year. “The new facility will further deepen our involvement in the food processing industry and help increase food security in Nigeria and the West African region.”

BUA Group has various investments in the agricultural value chain in sugar, rice, edible oils, flour milling and pasta. The owner of the company, Abdul Samad Rabiu, also owns Nigerian Bank of Industry, one of the major financial institutions in the country, and Nigerian Oil Mills Limited, the largest edible oil processing company.
